Does it cost anything to list my tool?
No. Listings are free and always have been. Featured placement is the one paid product on the site, and it changes where a listing appears — never what it says.
How long does it take to go live?
A free listing takes a few days, because a human reads the site and writes the entry before it publishes. Featured listings are reviewed and live within 24 hours.
Who writes the listing copy?
We do. You paste a URL and an email; we read the site, write the description, capture a screenshot, and sort out categories and pricing. If you would rather write it yourself, you can override any of it.
Can I pay to rank higher in a category?
Not in the sense that usually means. Featured listings sit at the top of their category and carry a visible Featured badge, so you always know which placements were paid for. Money never changes a description, a review, or any editorial content on this site.
What happens if my product shuts down?
It gets dropped. We check that listed tools are live and do what the listing says, and the verified-active date on each entry reflects that check. A directory full of dead links is worth nothing to the people using it.
Do I get a backlink?
Standard listings link to your site with a nofollow attribute. Featured listings get a do-follow link from a real directory page.
